Has anyone ever listened to WBBM for 8 hours a day? It is quite possibly the worst part of my job. Anyone who really knows me is aware of my disdain for radio commercials. Because they lack a visual element, they try to out-do other advertising by being as horribly obnoxious as possible.
I’m in my typical Sunday mood. I want to drink wine and listen to records. Or just lay on the couch. My head is spinning. I don’t know if it’s the WBBM, the large coffee, or the allergy medicine. Maybe a combo.
Tomorrow I am meeting the wonderful Jen Hazen for catch-up/margaritas. I haven’t seen her in ages and I’m very excited about it. I decided I can’t get too drunk, and have to be somewhat productive during the day. When I drank last Monday I was so hungover Tuesday that I lied in bed for 13 hours.
Speaking of productive, I have a story to finish tonight, which prohibits me from enjoying my usual Sunday night cocktail hour[s]. Adam and I polished off a bottle of wine last Sunday, and that sounds equally tempting this week. Unfortunately I have decided to embrace this whole having responsibilities thing. At least until I go to New York.
Three of Cups…it’s been way too long.

Records and wino-fuckery is what i do on Sundays too.
I know people say this (we say this) but really, we should hang out.
OH!
I have an air conditioner if you want it. I just signed a new lease on a place just north of the Graft.. I've resolved to not install my AC this summer and I dont want to move it. Funk you if you think I'm bringing it to your place... but it's otherwise up for grabs.
hanging out sounds glorious! we just bought a new unit. and it's pretty glorious.
weekend plans?
