Everything there is to be said about New York has been said or expressed by someone before me and that's for a variety of reasons. But I will say my piece anyway.
New York is an amazing, inspiring place full of really ambitious and (really) beautiful people. The food, the bars, the streets, the trains, the street vendors, the Brazillian dancers at 3 a.m. in Union Square, the man on the train who is homeless but instead of asking for money performs a rather hilarious stand-up routine which everyone seems to enjoy, falafel at 5 a.m. for $2, Brooklyn in general, Brooklyn Lager (delish!) and perhaps most importantly, the location in which I realized that life can be pretty fucking great.
I feel refreshed, motivated and happy to be back in Chicago despite my love affair with New York.

Sounds like you had a good time. Good for you! In spite of your love affair with the Big Apple, I'll take Chicago's frustrating poitics, the Outfit and Chicago women (especially the women) over New York any day (even though I thought the city was prety cool myself).
